PROFILE - Bev De Ponseele - Trainer
Initially I was mainly involved in the training of German Shepherd Dogs, but over the last 5 years I have trained all breeds and mixed breeds of family dogs at the Cape Handlers Dog Club, Milnerton.
I completed my Animal Behavioural Diploma in 2000 and am qualified in T-Touch techniques to calm and help with stress in dogs. I completed an animal communication course. I am frequently invited for talks at schools to teach children how to take care of their animals.
I am still actively involved in the training and care of puppies at the Cape Handlers Dog Club.
All methods used at Hands2Paws Educare are based on motivational training including the use of positive re-enforcement and rewards.
- Assistance in solving behavioural problems of your dog at your home or anywhere that needs to be addressed;
- Helping you choose your next puppy taking the puppy’s needs and your life style into consideration.
- Assistance with introducing a puppy into its new home;
- Helping you to introduce a rescue puppy or dog into its new home;
- Training you and your dog basic obedience principles at your home (i.e. Sit, down, walking on lead, etc.)
