Dog agility is a dog sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy. All dogs must be older than 14 months to attend the Agility classes. This is for the well being of your pet, to ensure that no harm is done to his/her growing joints.
Training sessions are held on Saturday mornings from 10am. For all newcomers, please arrive 30mins before the start of the session.
Flyball is a dog sport in which teams of dogs race against each other from a start/finish line, over a line of hurdles, to a box that releases a tennis ball to be caught when the dog presses the spring-loaded pad, then back to their handlers while carrying the ball. Flyball is run in teams of four dogs, as a relay.
Training sessions are held on Sundays at 9am. For all newcomers, please arrive 30mins before the start of the session.
Obedience training usually refers to the training of a dog and the term is most commonly used in that context. Obedience training ranges from very basic training, such as teaching the dog to reliably respond to basic commands such as "sit", "down", "come", and "stay", to high level competition within clubs, where additional commands, accuracy and performance are scored and judged.

Working Trials consists of three groups of work – obedience, agility and nose work. Tracking if fairly time consuming as it takes a fairly long time to master and requires early starts in the mornings.
To start working trials you should have completed a basic obedience course. Classes are held early on Sunday mornings The venue alternates between tracking in Richwood next to the Big Barrel Restaurant one week and the Club grounds , the following week Baby Puppy Socialisation & training. This class if for all puppies 8 to 16 weeks old. Class starts at 09:30am on Sunday. For all newcomers, please arrive 30mins before the start of the session.
